Welcome to the web site for J. R. Baker Elementary School. Thank you for visiting to learn more about our school. We strive to provide the best education possible for all students. Baker Elementary
serves approximately 400 students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grades. Our school has 23 teachers and 9 educational assistants. Among the numerous opportunities for learning include music, physical education, library, computer, guidance, special education services, ELL services, and services for the gifted.

        Announcements are done live daily at Baker Elementary through close circuit television. Fifth grade students man the video camera and computer during the broadcast.  Good Citizens of the Month and Students of the Day are a part of the morning announcements. The menu for lunch is shared on a daily basis.
