Wow! It is school time in Maury County. We are off to a wonderful start. Our students arrived registration day in their standard attire best. We looked great!!! This year Joseph Brown Elementary welcomes five teachers to the family. Meribeth Sowell comes to kindergarten from Baker Elementary. Elizabeth Molder is in first grade. She taught in Memphis last year and has recently married Columbia native Chaz Molder. Vanessa Crowe is teaching third grade. She is originally from New Hampshire but is currently living with her family in Nolensville and commuting. Lindsey Johnson is teaching in fourth grade and is a native of Columbia. Cindy Hargrove is teaching fifth grade. She has been in the school system before and we are happy to welcome her to our family. We also have new paraprofessionals in the Title I department. We are happy to welcome Curt Greene, Stephanie Berry, Lacretia Kyle, and Margot Penrod. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for August 13- Parent Orientation and August 26 Picture Day.
