First grade is an essential year for your child. Your child will spend several hours per day sharpening their skills. The knowledge they obtain in first grade is needed for learning advanced skills in elementary school and for life.
Successful integration of support between school and home is important for your child to reach his/her potential, both academically and behaviorally. Therefore, I
may be contacting you frequently to inform you of the progress we are making in the classroom. I will also
occasionally sending home newsletters with important dates and upcoming events. If any questions or concerns should arise through the year, please do not hesitate to contact me.
