The Top Ten Ways to Improve Your Grade in Math!

10.  Do extra credit.  For instance, on the "Activities" page.

9.    Ask questions if you are confused about anything.  Don't be afraid.  I won't hurt you.

8.    Have good attendance.  In general, you will drop a letter grade for every three absences each nine weeks.

7.    Put your name and the date the work was assigned on everything.  This helps me to make sure you get credit for your effort.

6.    Make your work as neat and readable as possible.  Remember, your work is how you communicate to me that you know what you are doing.

5.    Please ask questions if you are confused about anything.  Others are also confused but are too shy to ask.

4.    Study often, but for short periods of time.  You learn better that way.  15 minutes a day of studying is much better than 4 hours once a week.

3.    Retake tests that you score poorly on.  Do this during remediation or after school.  I will count the highest grade.

2.    Ask the teacher as soon as you see something you don't understand.  There is no better learning tool for you.  Besides, it's what they pay me for!
