Our mission is to create a safe, positive learning community of students, parents, and teachers where all students master or exceed grade level skills that challenge their individual abilities in all academic areas as evidenced by continual gains on research-based assessments. Our Beliefs: 1. Every child deserves every chance every day to feel and become successful.
2. It is vital to continually assess the effectiveness of instructional methods and materials and to collaborate with one another to ensure that our students become confident self-directed learners.
3. A committed alliance should be designed by combining the strengths of parents, students, staff, and the community in an effort to create a supportive, challenging, learning environment in which every member is valued in the decision-making process, communicates effectively with one another, and is treated with respect, care, and concern.
4. Students learn best in a supportive and challenging learning community when interacting with a rigorous curriculum presented by highly qualified educators.
5. A variety of research-based instructional approaches, materials, and assessment data is used to create a successful individual learning experience driven by the high expectations teachers hold for each individual learner.
6. Following physical and nutritional guidelines as mandated by our local, state, and federal government promotes wellness as a contributing factor to learning.
7. School policies and procedures are aligned with system policies which are developed in the best interest of the entire learning community.
