VISION:

Spring Hill Elementary School will become a world-class learning organization focused
on continuous, quality growth for all. We will be known for providing educational opportunities
that inspire diverse learning and present a model of high performance for other schools.

MISSION:

The mission of Spring Hill Elementary School is to provide a positive and safe instructional
environment which promotes the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth of the individual
and to encourage each student to become a lifelong learner, to be a contributing member of a global
society, and to meet grade-level expectations.

BELIEFS:

We believe:

• Every person is entitled to a safe, caring, positive learning environment.

• Every person is important and is entitled to respect, understanding and appreciation for their uniqueness.

• Education of our students is the shared responsibility of everyone - the home, the school, and the community; therefore, communication
  is recognized as being a key componenet.

• Our staff has set high goals for themselves and their students, because the earliest development of academic and social skills is essential to student success.

• The school will provide exposure to the fine arts, music, physical education, technology, and social development.

• Administration, faculty, staff, parents and the community will work collaboratively to make scientifically, research-based decisions.

• We recognize the importance of continuous improvements in our school.

• Our school's chief educational priorities are to develop higher order thinking skills, to integrate science and social studies into all content areas, and to implement differentiated instruction for all students.

• A variety of assessments will be used to evaluate student proficiency, to drive instructional decisions, and to provide direction for interventions.

• It is essential that our school supports the policy and decisions of the Maury County Board of Education and the State of Tennessee.

• Our mission is best accomplished when every vested member of Spring Hill Elementary School takes an active role in collaboration.
