Marketing and Management I - Principles

This course emphasizes the development of attitudes, skills, and knowledge related to marketing, merchandising, management, and business ownership.  Students who earn a full credit in this course may be exempt from Economics.

 

Marketing and Management II - Advanced Strategies

1/2 - 1 credit   Open to 12

Pre-requisite: Marketing and Management I and/or Entrepreneurship and/or signature approval from Mr. Richey.

This course builds upon principles learned in Marketing and Management I.

 

Work Based Learning/COOP

1 - 2 credits   Open to 12

Pre-requisite: Simultaneously enrolled in Marketing and Management II - Advanced Strategies.

This course provides students the opportunity to apply knowledge in a job setting through cooperative work experience.  Training station must be approved by Mr. Richey prior to being placed in 4th block CO-OP.

 

Services Marketing

1/2 - 1 credit   Open to 12

Pre-requisite: Marketing and Management II - Advanced Strategies and/or signature approval from Mr. Richey.

This class is to be taken after Marketing and Management II - Advanced Strategies.  Students must be in this course in order to be enrolled in WBL/COOP second semester.  This course addresses marketing issues in the service sector of the economy.

 

Entrepreneurship

1/2 - 1 credit   Open to 11, 12

Pre-requisite: Marketing and Management I and/or recommendation from Mr. Richey.

This course is an ITV class that addresses small business ownership.  It looks at all aspects of owning a business from inside and out.  The course also addresses areas from the business plan to financing to product development to sales.
