Welcome to the J. E. Woodard Elementary School Art Page. Click below to see some of our best work. |
| Art at J. E. Woodard is a way of learning about the world around us. We learn about famous artists and the way they work by studying what they have made and by making art ourselves. Learning about the artists lives and how the world is always changing is exciting. Making art helps us learn to make decisions and to not be afraid of our own ways of doing things. We have learned about illusions that artists use and have put some of their "tricks" into our artwork. Click below to see some of our work or to link to sites we used while learning about artists and the world. |
| Every four years, much
like the International Olympic Committee, our Specialty Teachers organize
a school-wide Olympics Celebration.
|
We learn about
cultures around the world and about the Olympic Games.
