Every year at holiday time, the first graders at J. E. Woodard Elementary School (with the help of several parents for two days) make these lovely gingerbread houses.  We hope you enjoy seeing them as much as we always do.
Girls and boys in first grade classes
Invite each of you to take a
Nice long walk through Gingerbread Houses
Great fun was had by all...
Eating as we worked and decorated
Real milk cartons and juce cartons
By icing graham crackers, cookies and        candies
Red roofs, green roofs, brown roofs
Even snowy roofs and Santa, too
Are included in our creations
Decisions had to we weighted as

Little Hands their selections made
And we're proud of our Gingerbread      houses
Now we're glad that you are here
Don't you like our special Christmas cheer?
