President Lincoln Visits
J. E. Woodard Elementary School

On February 23 in observance of the Presidents Day holiday, we had a visit from President Abraham Lincoln.  He told us some lively tales about his life and urged us to always be honest and responsible in our dealings with others.

<<<Once young Abraham Lincoln used the muddy feet of his step brother to make it look like someone walked up the wall, across the ceiling and down the other wall!  His step mother thought it was funny but he cleaned it up. <<<
President Lincoln said we could grow up to be rocket scientists.
