2026-2027 Out of Zone Open Enrollment Form

Parents/guardians who desire for their child to attend a Maury County Public School that is not the school that their home address is zoned for, may complete an out-of-zone open enrollment form. Parents/guardians must return the completed form to the desired school of choice between April 1, 2026 – April 30, 2026.

Approval is based on available seat capacity at the requested school. Completion of this form does not guarantee enrollment into the requested school. No student will be allowed in classes that exceed state mandated capacity. No out-of-county student can take the spot of an in-county student. Transportation must be furnished by the parent/guardian. If requests exceed the capacity at any school, a lottery will be held to fill the available openings. Once available openings are filled, the remaining names will be drawn to determine placement on the school’s waiting list (Policy reference 6.206). Students must remain in good standing with grades, behavior, and attendance if out-of-zone granted.
